The draws have been made for the 50 Blue September raffles run from Care Chemist and Life Pharmacy stores throughout September.

 In Titahi Bay, the Care Chemist raffle was drawn by Prostate Cancer Foundation rep Doreen Morrison. The winner was Mrs Shirley Bucknor, standing in the photo with Sandra Lowry the retail manager of Titahi Bay Care Chemist. Mrs Bucknor was absolutely delighted to have one as she has never won anything before!

Mrs Bucknor had a dear friend pass away the week before, so winning the raffle made her day and gave her a pick me up.

The staff at Titahi Bary Care Chemist were pleased to support Blue September by running the raffle and said "Thanks to everyone that made the raffle possible, it was great to be able to give away the prize locally."

All the money raised from the 50 raffles around the country is going to the Prostate Cancer Foundation to support their work in raising awareness for prostate cancer in New Zealand.
